Paying Attention

This is a great exercise to do when you are upset. It will help clear the mind and give you perspective and freedom.
Exercise:

This is a walking meditation. So to do it, just walk.

Do it for as long as you want or as need to have a shift in perspective.

Start with slow walking. Breathe in as you lift you foot. Then they breathe out as you lower it.

Walk silently and very slowly, Pay attention to what it’s like to walk.

Shift to faster walking. Notice how different that is.

Walk in a circle around a room or out doors. Make sure there is nothing you have to navigate.

You will get bored. That is good. Keep doing while you are bored for a few minutes and see what changes.
