Focus on Feeling

When we focus on our senses we can disengage the mind from the story (and drama) that may be inspired by a physical sensation or an emotion.

You can do this exercise anytime, anywhere
Exercise:

Sit in a comfortable chair or lay on your bed or on a rug

Close your eyes

Focus on one sensation… then, if you want, shift it to another sensation.

Imagine that you are a visitor from another planet and have never felt/heard/seen/smelled before
-
Imagine that this is a totally new experience to you.

Or think about what if you were to die any moment. Think about if after you die, you will never be able to have this sensation ever again.

Let yourself want to REMEMBER it what it's like being you, right now. What is the feeling like?
