Imagining space creates mental and emotional space. It creates space for our nervous system to relax, open and flow.
Exercise:

Close your eyes

Take one or two minutes to imagine ...

the space in a box or a container. You can set a box out. Have the students look at it. Then have them close their eyes and imagine the space in the box.

the space around you in the room
-
yourself floating peacefully out in space or out in the middle of the ocean, or up on a cloud. Think of all the space around you and how free you are.
